Both bedrooms are in the back of the apartment away from the train , but the living room area faces the elevated train directly. Yes there is noise that comes from the train as it goes by but its well insulated and it the reason its $500 less than if it was not facing the train. It's only the living room that faces the train and there is a door separating living room from rest of apartment.
One bedroom is large but has no windows. The other is smaller and has a window facing the back.
