It is also close to Columbia University and a number of prestigious hospitals. Also, running and bike trails are nearby. The building has an intercom and key elevator, a video security system, and a garden. Because there are only two units per floor, the building is not one of those overcrowded and anonymous buildings that you find all over the city - it is rather a cozy and more intimate/friendly building.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: To expedite the Condominium's Board approval, potential renters will need to go through a pre-screening process, which includes a credit and background check (cost is $20 for any adult tenant interested in moving into the apartment). Once you pass the pre-screening process and I have decided you are the perfect renter, you will need to submit a few documents to the Condo Board. As part of the process, you will be asked to pay the following fees (not to me):
a $500 move-in fee (non-refundable) payable to the Condominium and
a $250 Processing fee (non-refundable) payable to the Management Company.
Considering that you are not paying any broker's fee (you are dealing directly with me - the owner), you will save quite a bit of money and you will get to move in a beautiful apartment. As part of the rental application you will also be asked to provide the following: landlord's reference letter, employment letters, two most recent years' tax returns, and two personal reference letters.
