Samuel is a Queens native with a deep passion for enhancing the quality of communities through the arts and real estate. An accomplished filmmaker and writer, Samuel has led numerous film and art collectives, and he is dedicated to helping fellow artists—particularly those who are immigrants—find a place to call home in New York City. This passion for supporting others in their journey is rooted in his own family’s story. His parents, immigrants and veteran NYC landlords, arrived in the city with nothing and built a successful life through hard work and wise investments.
When he’s not behind the camera, Samuel is a devoted father to his two daughters, Violet and Samantha. He values his close-knit family ties, living just blocks from his mother, who immigrated from India over forty years ago. Samuel’s father instilled in him a passion for real estate through his own work as a civil servant, real estate investor, and landlord. Witnessing his parents' dedication and success drives Samuel to continue their legacy in real estate.
Samuel is also deeply committed to social justice, particularly in the area of fair housing. He learned to install drywall with Habitat for Humanity in Bedford-Stuyvesant and volunteers with The Gay Center of NY, advocating for inclusive opportunities for all New Yorkers. Samuel’s enthusiasm for meeting new people and exploring the diverse homes of New York City is evident in his approach to real estate.
